Technical description for port 7070:
Real Networks' RealServer uses UDP and TCP port 7070 for a client to connect to G2 RealServers. UDP port 7070 is exclusively for inbound traffic only. UDP port 7070 only carries inbound data stream, carrying only traffic after both the client and the server performed the authentication routine.
TCP port 7070 is used by RealPlayer to start a conversation with the remote RealServer. The client application will initiate a handshake with the remote G2 server to authenticate the program's validity, as well as to pass playback control to the server during streaming.
RealSystems uses both port 7070 and 554 for incoming and outgoing conversation between the client player and the remote server.
An error in RealPlayer results in a vulnerability in TCP port 7070 that will allow remote users to infiltrate the system and initiate DoS attacks.
