Description of ErrorWindows error number 808 occurs when the user attempts to compress catalogue files via a backup set but the user cannot recreate new catalogue files. The 808 error message also appears if the computerǃÙs drive C has only a free memory of 850MB left. The user cannot complete the task because the drive C requires at least 5GB of space for rebuilding catalogue files. In addition, the 808 error number arises when the user tries to repair backed up catalogue files.

The user may also groom the file by increasing the size of its margin if re-cataloguing is completed.
