Description of ErrorError message 718 can pop up if the user is trying to connect to the ISP server and the user name or password that is entered is invalid. This error can cause the server of the ISP not to respond in a timely manner to the userǃÙs computer request for a connection. Error 718 can also be caused by the userǃÙs computer having multiple network cards installed, the TCP/IP protocol may be disabled, or the TCP/IP settings may be incorrect.

Lastly, Enable TCP/IP protocol in the properties of the network cards.
