Description of ErrorThis code is seen when the .inf file did not run properly. It reminds users that a device is incorrect or that there is damage found in the registry. Example, the .inf describes a field that is supposed to be text, but is in binary form instead. The Device Manager is responsible for this kind of error. The hardware did not finish installing, or was installed improperly. The driver may also be not updated. The error can also be due to low memory capacity because too many files are open at the same time.

THE SOLUTIONUpdate the registry. Remove the device then reinstall the hardware. Use the Device Manager. Run the Add New Hardware Wizard and run through the proper installation process. Check the manual for further device information.
